Security training for security personnel

Our programs are designed to enhance skills and ensure that both new and experienced security personnel are effectively prepared for the challenges in their work environment.

Course description

• This 20-hour basic training course is aimed at new employees in the private security sector.
• The course meets the requirements of the VSSU (Association of Swiss Security Companies) CEC and provides the basic knowledge required for professional deployment.
• The training is required by law in several cantons - and opens the door to entry into the security industry.

Course content

• Rights and obligations
• Social skills & communication
• Specialist knowledge & first aid (BLS-AED Basics)
• Legal bases (incl. Weapons Act)
• Two written exams (multiple choice)

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 18 years
• No entries in the criminal record
• Good written and spoken German

Course duration and location

• Duration: 2 days (total of 20 lessons, theory only)
• Location: DGP De Giorgi Protection GmbH, Stäblistrasse 2a, 8006 Zurich

Course costs

• CHF 425.- per participant
• Certificate included after passing the final exam.
